After a highly competitive process, PaleoWest has been selected by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to provide cultural resource services across 11 states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming.
PaleoWest received the highest number of individual awards, meaning we are expected to provide services to more geographies in the U.S. than any other consultant over the next five years. The BLM estimates that the total value of all awards is over $28M.
As a long-term partner of the BLM, we’ve conducted Class III inventories of more than 130,000 acres of BLM-administered land nationwide to date. We look forward to supporting the BLM in its efforts to meet compressed schedules for emergency stabilization and rehabilitation projects as well as supporting both small and large-scale agency undertakings requiring the full spectrum of PaleoWest’s services. We’re excited to bring our geographic coverage and regional expertise–unparalleled among small business cultural resource firms–to support the BLM, in addition to our all-digital workflow that increases efficiency, data accuracy, and cost-effectiveness for our clients.
Special congratulations to Mike Cannon and a broad team who contributed to this major win for our firm.
