A Chronicle Heritage Safety Culture Campaign

At Chronicle Heritage, we believe that reporting saves lives. Our campaign, “Report to Save, Not to Blame,” reinforces a culture where safety concerns, near misses, and hazards are openly shared, not hidden out of fear.

This campaign is more than a message, it’s a movement. Every report is an act of care. Every voice raised strengthens our safety net.

Why This Matters

Our goals are clear:

  • Promote proactive reporting of unsafe conditions and behaviors
  • Foster psychological safety and trust – no retaliation, no shame
  • Reinforce our leadership-employee partnership in keeping each other safe
  • Show visible commitment to safety for both internal teams and external partners

A Note from Our CEO

Mel Gordon

” Safety isn’t just a compliance checkbox – it’s our daily commitment to one another. ‘Report to Save, Not to Blame’ is about building a culture where every voice is heard, concerns are addressed promptly, and learning is shared. Our leaders at every level are committed to creating an environment where our team can speak up without fear. Our people are our greatest asset, and this campaign reflects our values in action”

Mel Gordon, Chief Executive Officer

We’re encouraging teams to add the campaign image to their email signatures as a daily reminder and a client-facing message about our commitment to safety.

Our Safety Values

From pre-field hazard analysis to daily tailgate meetings, safety is embedded in every step of how we work. We adhere to OSHA, international standards, and location-specific laws – and beyond that, we empower every team member with Stop Work Authority if something doesn’t feel safe.

We maintain a zero-incident goal, and our approach blends digital documentation, proactive training, and shared responsibility to protect every person on every site.
