Evan McCurdy joined Chronicle Heritage as Director of Quality and Continual Improvement with the kind of energy you can’t manufacture — he jumped in headfirst with his whole heart.
A seasoned leader with a background that spans manufacturing, process engineering, and field services, McCurdy brings a refreshingly human-centered approach to operational excellence. He’s not just here to tick boxes – he’s here to connect Chronicle’s world-class technical and domain experts under a unified, scalable Quality Management System that honors the unique strengths of cultural resource management while aligning with rigorous global auditing standards particularly those required for our work in Europe and the Middle East.
As Chronicle continues its international expansion in the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East, McCurdy’s arrival couldn’t be better timed. His experience building cross-cultural systems — from Japan to Poland, Brazil to the U.S. — uniquely positions him to help bridge cultural and operational divides through quality practices that are both consistent and locally resonant.
“I have brought cultures closer together through Quality. From mega metros to humble villages, we’ve made the world make sense together.”
Leading with Curiosity, Connection, and Common Sense
McCurdy’s path to leadership had a humble start as a temporary worker in a car parts plant. It was there he first saw how observation, standardization, and collaboration could transform chaos into clarity. Since then, his career has evolved from being a boots-on-the-ground operator to trusted advisor, systems architect, and now, Director.
Along the way, he’s gained more than just technical expertise, he’s earned the trust and friendship of peers around the world. His leadership style is grounded in servant leadership, low ego, and high-solution mindsets.
“The greatest evolution in my career has been the people. I have more colleagues-turned-friends than I can count — nerds who rule the earth, and I’d give not one of them up.”

What He Brings to Chronicle
- A Holistic View of Quality: McCurdy works just as closely with administrators as he does with senior leaders, recognizing every role as critical to excellence.
- Process with Purpose: Whether it’s designing scalable workflows or meeting compliance benchmarks, he roots solutions in real-world usability.
- Community Spirit: Off the clock, McCurdy is equally passionate about serving his rural, metro-adjacent community, bridging needs with resources and always looking to be of use.
Now at Chronicle, McCurdy is helping translate CRM best practices into world-class quality operations — building something that’s not only high-performing, but distinctly Chronicle.
Looking Ahead
McCurdy envisions his role growing into a company-wide resource to support Chronicle’s growing complexity and scale. But more than systems and certifications, McCurdy is here for the people:
“I want to see Chronicle Heritage as the most competitive, versatile, compliant, and helpful CRM and environmental services organization in the world. By honing our talents and processes, I think this is not only achievable, but also inevitable.”
With global ambitions and a mission rooted in stewardship, Chronicle Heritage is lucky to have McCurdy guiding the journey forward — fact-based, values-led, and people-powered.
